Patrick Garrett Managing Director, North America

Patrick Garrett is Managing Director of North America for Outrider, a leading global search marketing consultancy, where he provides operational management and senior account strategy leadership for the organization. He is responsible for the overall management of Outrider's St. Louis headquarters, development and facilitation of partner programs, consistent messaging across all channels, and oversees client and employee enrichment.
Patrick has helped lead the evolution of the interactive and online industries in the Midwest for more than a decade, and played an integral role in the embracement of the interactive field by major brands including Anheuser-Busch, USB Warburg, Sprint, Republic of Tea, Verizon and Microsoft. In 1995, he co-founded StudioPointe Interactive, one of the first dedicated interactive agencies in St. Louis, providing clients with online presence, website strategy and website development. Later, Patrick joined ShearTech Advantage (partially owned by Skillsoft Corporation), where he served as Vice President of Operations, before being hired by SteadyRain as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In 2005, Outrider brought Patrick on board as Director of Strategic Services, later naming him to his current role as Managing Director, St. Louis.
Innovation and diligence are key characteristics of Patrick's work. He is the recipient of two Targeted Advertising & Marketing (TAM) Awards and three ADDY Awards, a highly-competitive award given by the American Advertising Federation, recognizing creative excellence in the industry. He is also two-time recipient of the Omni Award, an industry award recognizing outstanding media production, and was featured in 2001 as one of St. Louis' "30 Under 30" by the St. Louis Business Journal, an award that recognizes the city's top professionals under the age of 30 who are making a mark on in the business world. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Japanese Studies from Earlham College.
Outside of the office, Patrick is actively involved in the St. Louis community. He serves on the St. Patrick Center Board of Trustees, is a member of the American Chamber Chorale Board, and previously served on the United Way Marketing Communications Advisory Panel.
