Summary:
The search analytics role is responsible for driving analysis and strategic thinking across Outrider clients and new business developments. We are looking for a person that possesses a solid foundation in statistical and economic theory to be applied to the search engine marketing world. Although prior experience is not required, a background in media, marketing or consulting is a plus.
Detailed Description:
The search analytics role will lead advanced strategic services and reporting for Outrider
clients and new business. Responsibilities will include designing and overseeing performance reporting
for campaigns. This person will provide insight at the beginning stages, as well as leading mid and post-campaign
analyses, optimizations, and strategy recommendations. The emphasis of this position is on applying strategic
thinking to both campaign planning and management.
Primary responsibilities include:
Development of customized client reporting models in Excel and Word Provide client-team support to ensure high quality deliverables Quantitative analysis of campaign tracking report metrics and comparison against plan Provide insight to analyses by making recommendations to campaign Assist in the development of client-specific analytical and creative test designs and execution Assist in the development of new analytical tools
Qualifications:
Intellectual curiosity, responsibility, determination, creativity, flexibility, drive, and self-confidence. Must be highly motivated with a strong record of either academic or professional achievement. Experience in statistical modeling, database marketing, economic analysis, and/or agency/consulting experience a plus. Degree in marketing, mathematics, statistics or economics required; advanced quantitative degree a plus Possession of excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills. Proven leadership ability with strong client relationship skills. Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Ability to utilize VBA programming desired.Knowledge of SAS or SPSS, SQL, Strata or other database packages (e.g., MS Access) a plus. Knowledge of Dart, Atlas, WebTrends, or Doubleclick a plus.
